Red Carpet Trends to Incorporate into Your Day

We love a red carpet around here. In college me and my roommate would get crappy Chinese food and watch the Oscar's red carpet every year. Also since college, I have always put together my own best and worst dressed lists. I've skipped several times and been asked where my lists were, which I kind of love.

So I decided to use all of that to bring a trend report your way of what I'm seeing so far in the industry and how you can work it into your big day!

Trend 1: Silver

Gold has had a longggg moment in fashion now (like a strong 15 years) but silver is making it's way back this year.

Tons of celebs hit the carpets in silver gowns or with silver accessories this year, so we'd say silver is fully back!

How you can wear it: silver jewelry or shoes are a really easy way to work this trend in! We also love silver touches at your reception like disco balls, flatware, or candles.

Trend 2: Red

She's bold, but we love a good red.

My day job is in the shoe industry and we've been hearing for a year or so that red would be coming on strong and boy has it so far on the 2024 red carpets!

Celebs like Margot Robbie, Emily Blunt, Camilla Morrone, Selena Gomez and more have been spotted in hot reds.

How you can wear it: pop on a classic red lip, incorporate red in your florals, or go all the way with red bridesmaid dresses.

Trend 3: 3-D Accents

We've been seeing big 3-D floral sleeves, appliques, and sculptural skirts all over the red carpet so far this year. If you're looking to make a big impact with your style, this is the way to do it!

How you can wear it: add some dimension with your veil (like our Fleur veil), your jewelry, or go big with your sleeves, skirt, or train.

Red carpet season will cap off with the Oscars in February and that will be the big night for red carpet fashion.
